A tenant accused of setting ablaze some 48 Mabati houses belonging to his landlord after rent payment disagreement was charged at a Kibera court.
Dennis Ekirapa Alias Falook Bin Swale was accused with arson contrary to the law before Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Samson Temo.
He denied the accusations and sought for lenient bond terms.
The court heard that the accused person committed the offence on May 17 at around 9 am at Southlands Slums in Lang’ata Sub-county within Nairobi County.
