Kikuyu police are investigating the killings of two siblings, aged 5 and 7, who were slain on Saturday night at their parents’ home in Kerwa, Kikuyu.
According to Kikuyu OCPD Catherine Ringera, officers rushed to the site and discovered the youngster with his wrists tied behind his back and his head in a bucket of water.
His sister seemed to have suffered the same fate. While information on the murders is scarce, Ms Ringera told the media that the children’s mother has been arrested and is cooperating police with their investigations.
Ms Ringera claims that the children’s father was away at the time of the event and returned home only later.
According to neighbors, the mother of the children claimed she was attacked by two males.
