Police arrested a KCSE centre manager at St. Francisca Nyamonaria Secondary School in Nyamarambe, Kisii County, on Friday for assisting in the escape of two unidentified individuals who were caught revising a Mathematics paper inside one of the school’s toilets.

According to a police report, the two unknown men and one of the school’s candidates had locked themselves inside the lavatory while in possession of two mobile phones, one of which belonged to the Invigilator.

In addition, police found 13 four-figure log books with conveniently hidden writings, an exercise book with notes, and two school attendance registers.

It is presumed that the unknown men were going to sneak into the KCSE exam room and take the scheduled Mathematics exam.
