Tension was reported at Kisii Secondary School after students staged a protest following the serving of ugali and beans as a meal.
According to sources, learners expressed dissatisfaction with the food, terming it inadequate and repetitive.

School administration moved in to calm the situation and restore order as discussions were initiated to address the students’ concerns.
No injuries were reported, and learning later resumed.
