A teacher in Itumbe, Kisii County is in police custody after he was found with a Form Three girl, who was locked in his home.
Police officers on patrol were tipped off by members of the public who suspected the teacher’s movements. This led the police to storm his house to find the secondary school girl locked in the teacher’s house in Itibo market area.
The girl was taken to the local hospital where tests will be run on her to ascertain whether she was defiled by the apprehended teacher.
The teacher whose identity was concealed, is being held at the Itumbe Police Station pending investigations into his actions.
