A dormitory and some classrooms at Kisumu Boys High School were destroyed by fire on Saturday morning around 8 a.m.
There were no reported casualties.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
Unknown monetary value property was destroyed.
Meanwhile, Education CS George Magoha stated that anyone found to be responsible for the incident will face punishment.
He stated that the ministry has worked hard to ensure that all children have a suitable learning environment.
He also stated that the current term will be continued as is, with no additional time added.
