Drama is unfolding in Kisumu after a heartbroken man resorted to a hunger strike and a
daily 47-minute crying session, following a painful fallout with his KMTC girlfriend. The
man was left devastated after the woman blocked him from attending her graduation
and told him never to contact her again.
According to sources, the man had been financially supporting the woman throughout
her college journey; paying her school fees, rent, and other expenses all while hoping
to make her his second wife. He believed their relationship was heading toward
marriage and saw himself as a loyal partner investing in their future.
However, things took a shocking turn when he discovered that the woman had another
boyfriend a younger Gen Z man whom she now plans to marry. The graduation snub
and sudden end to their relationship came as a crushing blow.
Now feeling used and betrayed, the man is calling on the government to introduce a law
to protect individuals from what he terms “romantic fraud.” He believes there should be
legal consequences for people who accept long-term support in relationships, only to
abandon their partners after achieving their personal goals.
