There was drama on Monday, December 13 morning in Kitengela, Kajiado County after a man was seen forcefully taking a woman to the police station claiming she had spiked his drink.
The heavily built shirtless man allegedly dragged the woman from a local pub along Baraka road, where the incident allegedly occurred.
Attempts by members of the public to help the screaming woman who was sandwiched between the shirtless man and a bodaboda rider were met by “Huyu ni mtu wa mchele, twende polisi” response from the angry man identified as Emmanuel Wamalwa.
When the apparently inebriated man found it difficult to drag the girl to the police station, he bundled her on a motorcycle. His towering frame scared away onlookers as he sandwiched the girl between himself and the rider.
To the surprise of a heavily armed female police officer on duty, the man alighted from the motorcycle tightly holding the lady by her left wrist shouting “Ingia hapa police station na mchele yako. Siwezi kukuachilia”.

The Kitengela Ocs David Ole Shani had to intervene to get the man to let go of the woman.
“This man requested me to take them to Kitengela Police Station from a club on Baraka Road. He claims the lady spiked his drink,” said the bodaboda rider when he was approached.
According to the preliminary investigation, Wamalwa, 32, who works as a security guard in one of the local nightclubs, said he has been following the woman after she stole a large sum of money from him and his uncle two weeks prior after spiking his drink.
Wamalwa claimed the woman, who was working as a barmaid, switched to a small pub on Baraka road to cover her tracks.
The suspect, identified as Aivin Laboso, denied her involvement with a gang of notorious booze spikers who have taken over Kitengela nightclubs.
She claimed the man refused to pay a Ksh 1,750 alcohol bill.
An investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
