Kitengela town is set to become a municipality, paving the way for further economic development in the city.
After the towns of Ngong and Kajiado, the town in Kajiado County is set to be the third town to receive the status appraisal.
Kitengela, according to Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku, will benefit in the same way as other municipalities across the country.
