Kitui Deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau accompanied by CECM for Infrastructure Eng. Jacob Kakundi and CECM for Agriculture, Water and Irrigation Emmanuel Kisangau, today met the residents of Kyukyoa which is at the border of Miambani Ward and Mui Ward, where the residents had requested the County Government to help them in opening their road which if done, will connect Miambani Ward and Mui Ward.
The residents led by their chairman Mzee Mutunga Kitho, were very happy to receive the team and lauded the leadership of Governor Charity Ngilu for choosing to assist them in opening that road.
Dr Wathe, assured them not to worry because the Governor has directed the work to start immediately and that’s why they visited the area.
Others present was the MCA Mui Ward Hon Jacob Mbaya (Kavolonza), Mui Ward Administrator Justus Kivuvo and the area Chief Peter Syengo, among other County officers.
