Catholic Women Associations (CwAs) in Kitui Diocese have been called upon to apply for the County Empowerment fund as a means of empowering themselves both economically and socially.
Speaking while representing Governor Charity Ngilu on the occasion of the official opening of the Kasyala parish Church, Leader of Government business and Miambani MCA Hon. Alex Nganga, urged the congregation to utilize the funds as a stepping stone to achieving financial freedom especially during these hard economic times occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Further, he called upon the electorate to shun leaders without a track record of development.
Hon. Nganga was accompanied by a host of Members of Kitui Assembly and other community leaders.
