Kitui Women Representative Irene Kasalu has put sex pests on notice for impregnating young girls.
Speaking during the Kitui Diocese Family day, Kasalu said the time has come for those defiling school girls to face the music.
Kasalu said empty rhetoric was over and urged leaders to take the war on defilement to the doorsteps of the offenders.
Cases of defilement, early pregnancies, and school dropout among girls in the region have been on the rise.
Hundreds of girls who have been impregnated were returned to school early this year following an operation mounted by education officers and administrators.
