Korir Sing’Oei Chairs First Senior Staff Meeting of FY 2025/2026, Sets Strategic Agenda for the Year

Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Korir Sing’Oei, this morning chaired the inaugural Senior Staff Meeting for the 2025/2026 financial year, marking the official launch of a renewed strategic direction for Kenya’s foreign policy operations.

The meeting brought together top leadership and senior officials to assess achievements from the previous year and align priorities for the year ahead. Among the key highlights was the formal recognition of new leadership within the department, signaling a continued commitment to institutional strengthening and effective diplomatic service.

PS Sing’Oei commended the department’s performance over the past year, citing significant milestones such as the revision of Kenya’s Foreign Policy and the expansion of global engagements. He emphasized the need for sustained momentum, urging all heads of directorates to lead with purpose, promote interdepartmental collaboration, and align initiatives with the country’s strategic interests.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the department’s commitment to proactive diplomacy, innovation, and strategic partnerships under the theme #DiplomacyInAction.
