The Friends of Nairobi National Park (FoNNaPKenya) has called on Kenya Power to address the issue of low-hanging power lines crossing wildlife habitats.
This comes after a giraffe was electrocuted to death on Wednesday, May 24 at the Naretunoi Conservancy- Nairobi National Park.
According to FoNNaPKenya, sustainable development is the world model of development which should be embraced.
“This happened today at around 7 am when a male adult giraffe was struck by a low-hanging power line in Naretunoi Conservancy- Nairobi National Park wildlife dispersal area,” FoNNaPKenya said.
