The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has stated that its Integrated Customs Management System (iCMS) will undergo scheduled maintenance beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Importers, exporters, and clearing agencies rely heavily on the iCMS system to manage customs operations.
It improves trade efficiency by accelerating cargo clearance, eliminating complications caused by various systems, automating manual operations, and reengineering workflows.
In a statement on X on Friday, KRA highlighted that the system will be unavailable until 6:00 AM on Sunday, January 12.
“Kindly be advised that there is scheduled maintenance for iCMS system starting tomorrow Saturday 11th January 2025 at 10:00PM and ending on Sunday 12th January 2025, at 6:00AM,” KRA said.
KRA similarly advised taxpayers and stakeholders to plan accordingly to avoid any inconvenience during the downtime.
