Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has appointed two new Commissioner.
Mr. Weldon Kipkoech Ngeno is the new Large and Medium Taxpayers Commissioner.
Ms Doreen Ndombi Mbingi was appointed the first Commissioner in the Office of the Commissioner General.
The new appointments were announced by Commisioner General Humprey Wattanga.
The appointments became effective on 15th of January 2026.
They are the second Commisioner appointments by the KRA board.
KRA is in the process of re-engineering its tax collection methodologies in its bid to reach its tax targets.
