KURA Announces 4-Day Traffic Disruption Along Jogoo, Nyasa Roads

    The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced a three-day traffic disruption along Jogoo and Nyasa Roads, from Friday, 18th July 2025 to Monday, 21st July 2025.

    The agency stated that the temporary closure was intended to facilitate the installation of a culvert as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.

    “Kenya Urban Roads Authority seeks to inform the general public of a temporary traffic disruption along Jogoo Road and Nyasa Road from 10:00 PM on Friday, 18th July 2025, to 11:00 PM on Monday, 21st July 2025. This interruption is necessary to facilitate culvert installation works,” it said in a notice.

    Motorists have been advised to exercise caution around the affected areas and strictly follow the traffic management plans in place.

    “Motorists are advised to exercise caution when approaching the affected section and to follow all road signs provided. Police officers and traffic marshals will be on site to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. We apologise for any inconvenience caused as we continue to Transform Urban Mobility”, KURA stated.
