The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced a two-week traffic disruption along the UN avenue (Runda Drive Junction).
In a notice on Monday, the authority said the disruption would allow the contractor to install culverts and process earthworks along the section.
“We wish to inform the general public that there will be traffic disruption along UN Avenue (Runda Drive Junction) as from 6 am Sunday, September 3, 2023, till 6 am Sunday, September 17, 2023,” Kura said.
Kura Director General Silas Kinoti urged motorists to drive with caution as they approach the section and adhere to the road signs that will be provided.
“The police and traffic marshals will be on site to enable a smooth flow of traffic. We apologise for any inconveniences that may be caused as we endeavour to transform urban mobility,” Kinoti added.
