KWS Announces Free Entry for Some Students Ahead of Easter Holiday

The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) will grant free entry to 10 pupils for every 100 paying students to all national parks, game reserves, and sanctuaries across the country.

In a notice on Tuesday, March 31, KWS said the offer applied to every school trip as a way of promoting local tourism.

According to the notice, the offer is exclusively valid for schools and students from nursery schools through to higher education institutions, including universities.

For children under 6 years old, KWS said they would be admitted to the parks free of charge.

The offer is valid from March 1 to June 30, 2026, and urges schools to take advantage of the April holiday to let learners experience wildlife through the offers.

“Enjoy the Wild Scholars offer: 10 free entries for every 100 students, and turn the last days of term into an unforgettable experience. Come, the wild is waiting,” KWS stated.

The corporation encouraged many schools to take the offer, noting that the more students they had, the more offers they would receive.
