Police have initiated an investigation after discovering a horrifically disfigured female body near Nairobi’s Langata Cemetery.
The remains, predominantly bones appear to have been abandoned by unknown individuals.
According to authorities, the bones seemed to have been boiled and the flesh systematically removed.
The motive behind this disturbing act remains unclear, and no arrests have been made so far. Authorities are working to identify the victim as the investigation continues.
The incident left many locals shocked as the police moved the parts to the mortuary for preservation and identification.
Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei said they are investigating to establish the motive and those behind the same.
The incident comes in the wake of fears that women are being targeted for murder.
