The residents of Ngei 2 estate in Lang’ata constituency, for the second day, are fighting for a playground.
The playground is shared by Langata Junior Academy, Witty Wits Kindergarten and PCEA Church.
Today, the grabbers came in with a contractors and brought materials to prepare for the construction of a residential complex.
Police officers from the Lang’ata Road Police Station rushed to the scene to calm irate residents.
However, the estate has vowed to take the matter to higher authorities, should he continue grabbing the playground.
Lang’ata residents have also faulted the Area Member of Parliament Nixon Korir over his silence on the matter.
