ETHIOPIA
Ethiopian football federation canceled the current season owing to COVID 19 situation in the country.
In a statement, EFF indicated there will be no winner this season, hence no promotion and relegation.
The league was stopped on March 25 with 17 rounds of match to play.
The country is still under a state of emergency as they try to combat COVID 19 spread.
UGANDA
FUFA president confirmed their commitment to play the league to the end with 5 rounds of the match to play.
The Country has had strict measures including lockdown and secession of movement.
TANZANIA
Tanzania Football federation hopes to resume football by June.
The countries president ordered plans to see the league resume. President Magufuli opined that COVID 19 has not hurt even one single player hence believes the virus is immune to active players
TFF is working on June resumption currently Simba is on the verge of becoming champions with only 5 rounds of the match to be played.
KENYA
FKF canceled all-league declaring four-time champions Gor Mahia as this season’s winners. FKF president has since forwarded the name of Gor mania to CAF.
Elsewhere Nairobi city stars and Bidco were promoted to the top league with playoffs set to be played later to determine the fate of Vihiga United and Kisumu All-stars relegation promotion battle.
KPL is yet to meet and decide on way forward as they protest the decision by federation president Nick Mwendwa.
