Kitui Bishop Joseph Mwongeli ordained eight priests and seven deacons on Saturday to serve in various parishes throughout Kitui County.
Speaking during the Ordination at Kitui John II Institute, the Bishop urged the newly ordained priests and deacons to work together to promote peace and unity.
Among the ordained priests were;
1. Deacon SimonPeter Kitute (Mutune parish)
2. Deacon Felix Masika (Kwa Vonza parish)
3. Deacon John Murage (Kamuwongo parish)
4. Deacon Laurence Kilonzi (Kasyala parish)
5. Deacon Andrew Kausya (Nguutani parish)
6. Deacon Charles Kimanga Mulu (Kiio Parish)
On the other hand the following deacons were ordained;
1. Acolyte Francis Malombe (Boma Parish)
2. Acolyte Erastus Mwaniki (Kabati Parish)
3. Acolyte John Sila (Ikutha parish)
4. Acolyte Vincent Mutonya (Kasyala parish)
5. Acolyte John Munzaa (Boma Parish)
6. Acolyte Mathew Mutua (Ikutha parish)
7. Acolyte Andrew Kimanzi (Miambani parish)
