List of schools qualified for 2025 KSSSA National Term One Games at Mombasa

After thrilling action in all regions, the stage is set for the 2025 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term One Games, which will be hosted in the Coast region from Saturday 5 to Sunday 13 April 2025.

In Rugby 15’s, defending champions All Saints Embu are placed in Pool A alongside Coast region champions Serani Boys, Nairobi region champions Upper Hill, and Central region powerhouse Mang’u.

Pool B comprises Western region champions Vihiga High School, Rift Valley champions Bwake Boys, Coast region first runners-up Marafa Secondary School, and Nyanza region heavyweights Kisii School.

In the boys’ hockey category, national defending champions and 2024 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) champions Musingu High School from the Western Region will battle for a slot in the semifinals in Pool B against Central Region champions M-Pesa Foundation Academy, Eastern Region champions Matiliku, and Coast Region first runners-up Mnyenzeni.

Pool A features eight-time national champions and Rift Valley Region champions St. Anthony’s Kitale, Nyanza Region champions Ringa Boys, Nairobi Region champions Hospital Hill, and Coast Region champions St. Charles Lwanga.

In the girls’ hockey category, the 2024 FEASSSA champions and Rift Valley champions St. Joseph’s Girls Kitale are in Pool A alongside Coast Region champions St. Charles Lwanga, Eastern Region champions AIC Nyayo, and debutants Mwiki Girls, who are the Nairobi Region champions.

Pool B features national defending champions Tigoi Girls, Nyanza Region champions Ng’iya Girls, Central Region champions M-Pesa Foundation Academy, and Coast Region first runners-up St. John’s Kaloleni.

In Basketball Boys, Pool A consists of Dr. Aggrey (Coast), Pioneer School (Central), Dagoretti High (Nairobi), and Friends School Kamusinga (Western), while Pool B comprises Lukenya School (Eastern), Laiser Hill (Rift Valley), and Sawagongo Boys (Nyanza).

In Basketball Girls, Pool A includes Ikutha Girls (Eastern), North Eastern, Kaya Tiwi (Coast), and Olympic Secondary (Nairobi). Pool B features Mpesa Academy (Central), St. Joseph’s Girls Kitale (Rift Valley), Asumbi Girls (Nyanza), and Butere Girls (Western).
