Liverpool Fans Change Klopp Song To Praise Wife

Jurgen Klopp claimed that one of the reasons he opted to extend his Liverpool contract for another two years was because of his wife Ulla Sandrock.

The news means that the German manager and his wife Ulla will remain at the helm of the Reds and in Merseyside until 2026.

Many were surprised by the news, since it had been widely expected for some time that Klopp would leave Liverpool in 2024.

Klopp’s Reds tenure will now exceed ten years, despite the fact that he is already the Premier League’s longest serving manager, having joined the club in 2015.

Before marrying in 2005, the Anfield star met his wife during Oktoberfest in Munich, and quipped that

Klopp confirmed the news himself via a video uploaded to the club’s official Twitter account in which he said: “There’s something to announce. Like last time some will like it, some will not like it too much. If you don’t like it, stop watching now.

“I stay for another two years… and only me. No, all my coaches will as well, which is the most important actually. Why? Is now the question. Because Ulla wants to stay and as a good husband what are you doing when your wife wants to stay? You are staying.”

Reds fans have understandably rejoiced in his wife’s intervention and have since changed the lyrics to a song that was originally dedicated to the Liverpool boss.

The following is a modified version of the song’s lyrics:

“I’m so delighted Ulla like scouse, and I’m even happier that she’s not moving. Ulla told Jurg, “You know, she doesn’t want to leave, but I’m in love with her and everything is OK.””
