Former Lizzo staffers are rallying behind three backup dancers who have accused the singer of sexual harassment and body shaming in a new lawsuit.
Former creative directors Quinn Wilson and Sophia Nahli Allison, as well as filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison, have complimented the plaintiffs for their bravery in bringing the charges to light.
Renowned artist Lizzo is facing a legal battle as former dancers have filed a lawsuit against her, alleging sexual harassment and the creation of a hostile work environment.
The Grammy-winning singer, celebrated for promoting body positivity and inclusivity, now finds herself at the centre of controversy.

The lawsuit, filed by a group of former dancers who performed with Lizzo during her successful world tour, claims that they endured a series of disturbing incidents while on the job.
Allegations include unwanted advances, inappropriate remarks, and discriminatory treatment based on appearance and body size. The dancers assert that Lizzo failed to address their complaints adequately, allowing the misconduct to persist unchecked.
The dancers claim that they were pressured to touch a nude performer sexually during an Amsterdam trip. They were attending a live sex show in the city’s red light district where customers were allowed to touch and interact with performers.
They also accused Lizzo of inviting them for a night out without telling them that they’d be attending a sex show. Lizzo allegedly took things too far by pressuring her dance team to feel on the nude entertainers and eat a banana from one of their vaginas.
As a champion for body acceptance and self-love, Lizzo’s fans were dismayed by the allegations, highlighting the irony of such accusations against an artist who has consistently spoken out against body shaming and discrimination. The situation has sparked intense debate and disappointment among fans and the entertainment industry alike.
It is crucial to remember that these are still allegations and not conclusive proof of wrongdoing. Nonetheless, the lawsuit underscores the importance of fostering safe and respectful workplaces for all, regardless of industry or public status.
As the legal process unfolds, the spotlight is now on Lizzo and her team to transparently address the concerns raised by the former dancers. This incident serves as a stark reminder that no one is immune to accountability, and the principles of respect and equality must be upheld at all times, both on and off the stage.
