A driver lost control of his lorry and rammed onto eight cleaners along Outering Road, Nairobi and killed one on the spot on Wednesday evening.
The driver who escaped the scene was driving towards airport direction when he lost control of the lorry and ploughed through the eight sweepers working under Kenya Urban Roads Authority.
One female worker aged 24 died on the spot.
Police say they are looking for the driver and that the lorry was towed to the local police station for inspection.
The other seven workers were taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
