Education CS Professor Magoha has said the lives of children are paramount…and said no pressure will make him postpone exams.
While appearing at the regular press briefing by the Health Ministry, Magoha said school children are now on holiday…and there is no need for anxiety.
“The only time we have lost so far is three weeks, right now my children are enjoying their holiday until the end of the month… We are not going to risk the lives of our children because dead people do not take exams…” – CS Magoha.
He further urged parents not to worry about the school calendar, because the Government is fully in control of the situation.
He said the Government will make prudent decisions, including online programs that are geared towards growing the sector.
“We are offering online education through a battery of systems and a large number of our children are carrying on with their learning as is expected…” CS Magoha said.
