Malala: I Will Lead A Counter-Protest To Raila’s Home

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has announced elaborate plans to counter the planned mass action organized by Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party slated for Monday. 

Speaking during delegates meeting in Machakos,  UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala hinted that he will be leading UDA supporters to Mr. Odinga’s Karen residence while the opposition honcho will be leading his own supporters to State House.

“As you do what you are calling peaceful demonstrations to State House, we shall also be doing peaceful demonstrations to your home,” said Malala on Saturday.

Malala assured Azimio leader that the government will provide him with enough security officers during the demonstrations, but reminded him that State House is a protected area further cautioning the opposition supporters against engaging in violence and destruction of property.
