A middle-aged man was today arraigned in court for allegedly kidnapping his employer under unclear circumstances.
Frankline Odhiambo Otieno is alleged to have abducted his employer, and Indian National for an alleged purpose of exploiting him.
According to the prosecution, Frankline trafficked in persons contrary to section 3 of the Counter-Trafficking in Persons Act by kidnapping/abducting his employer.
He is said to have abducted his employer, Harsh Patel on December 16, 2024 at a village in Westlands for the sole purpose of exploiting the said Harsh Patel.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi, the accused denied the charges and was released on Ksh 1 million bond with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 500,000.
