Man Charged For Extorting UDA Aspirant With ‘Nudes’

A man has been charged today at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi for Extorting money from Jackline Mwenesi Lukalo, a candidate for Vihiga County Woman Representative using obscene images.

Tyson Wabuti was charged with Cyber harassment contrary to the Law.

It is believed that on March 13,2022, the Wabuti send a WhatsApp message and nude photos to Hon Mwenesi threatening to expose the MCA.

In the said message, the accused appears to be blaming Hon Jackline Mwenesi Lukalo for sexually exploiting young boys from Vihiga County.

“I was just proving if the allegations of you f*cking young boys in Vihiga if it is true and at least I have proven. Just know if in any case I have a bitter heart then you will cry at last,” read the WhatsApp message as per the charge sheet.

The accused is said to have obtained Ksh 42,000 on diverse dates from Hon Mwenesi threatening to expose her in default.

Tired of the extortion, the nominated MCA sought help from the DCI to block the criminal from taking advantage of her moral once and for all.

Appearing before Magistrate Robert Shikwe of Milimani Law Courts, the suspect denied the charges and was released on a bond of Ksh 400,000 and an alternative cash bail of Ksh 100,000.

The case was slated on April 8th, 2022 for pretrial
