Man Charged With Rape Pleads Not Guilty at Milimani Court

Isaiah Kaindo Miriti has been accused of rape has pleaded not guilty before the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi.

Miriti was arraigned in court following his arrest on October 28, 2025.

According to the prosecution, Miriti is charged with rape, contrary to Section 3(1)(a)(b)(3) of the Sexual Offences Act No. 3 of 2006.

The particulars allege that on October 28, 2025, at Kenyatta National Hospital staff residential quarters within Nairobi County, the accused unlawfully and intentionally caused genital penetration without the consent of the complainant.

The prosecution has listed several witnesses, including Dorothy Mmonji Ayiro, Dr Timothy Mmonji Ayiro, Felister N. Matingi, Patrick Kiboi Wanjohi, Lucy Ngunja and PC Dominic Maranga.

Miriti was released on a cash bail of Ksh30,000.

The case will proceed at the Chief Magistrate’s Court, Milimani, on dates to be fixed by the court.
