A reveler at a prominent Kericho lounge reportedly fell and died while celebrating the Christmas holidays.
The young man was found splayed on the tarmac at 10 p.m. on Sunday night, having suffered several body fractures from the fall.
Abdulkadir Malicha, Officer Commanding Police Division in Kericho East, said an investigation had been initiated to ascertain whether the victim was pushed to death or if it was an accident.
“We cannot provide much material for the time being until the inquiry into the situation is completed,” he stated.
Kericho’s sports bar and party club is a popular hangout for partygoers.
Another young man was struggling for his life in Kericho County Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after being attacked by a five-man gang who assaulted and robbed him in the Central Business District adjacent to Giftmatt supermarket.
