The Milimani Law Courts has charged Brian Owino Omondi with multiple counts linked to a fraudulent Teachers Service Commission (TSC) job scam.
In the first count, Omondi is accused of conspiring with others not before the court to commit forgery of TSC documents.
He also faces a second count of making a document without authority by allegedly preparing a fake TSC employment application form with intent to deceive.
A third charge states that on December 6, 2024, within Nairobi County, Omondi obtained Ksh200,000 from Rispah Kachieri by falsely claiming he could secure her employment with the TSC.
The defence requested reasonable bail or bond terms and sought the release of Omondi’s confiscated mobile phones. While the prosecution did not oppose bail, they objected to the release of the phones, citing ongoing forensic analysis.
The court granted Omondi a bond of Ksh500,000 and set pretrial for October 2, 2025.
