A man in Nandi county hacked his elder brother to death over Sh10.
On Saturday, Kevin Mwale, 31, was assaulted by his younger brother Brian Ilodanga Mwale, 28. Kevin demanded to be paid the remaining money after purchasing bhang.
Doris Chemos, Nandi central police boss claimed the assailant hacked his brother with a machete after he was unable to explain where the Sh10 had gone.
Chemos added, “He confronted the deceased for bothering him about the money he had spent.”
Jane Minayo, 60, said she stood by and watched as her sons fought over the remaining Sh50.
He was pronounced dead at the Kapsabet Level 5 Hospital after suffering serious cuts.
