A young man was today arraigned in court and charged with orchestrating cyber harassment against Migori County Member of Parliament.
Vincent Otieno Okwanyo is said to have sent an obscene and insulting SMS message to Hon. Fatuma Zainabu Mohammed alleging that she is growing old and that she should get a man to marry her.
According to the charge sheet, the suspect is said to have sent the MP a message to wit “you are growing old you should get a man to marry you…” an act intended to offend and affect the character of Hon. Fatuma.
Appearing before Magistrate Benmark Ekhubi, the suspect denied the charges and was released on Ksh 100,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 50,000.
