Police in Embu have launched a manhunt for a 35-year-old man accused of defiling a 13-year-old girl.
Embu West OCPD Julius Kyumbule said that the suspect defiled his girlfriend’s daughter in the Kithimu area of Embu West.
According to a police report, the suspect went to his girlfriend’s house after a night of drinking, but left with his lover’s 13-year-old daughter under mysterious circumstances.
”Kuna huyu bwana ambaye ni rafiki ya mamake ambaye wanakunywa pamoja, baada ya kutoka sehemu zao za kunywa akaenda kwa ule mama na kutoka na mwanawe wa kike mwenye umri wa miaka 13,” the police boss said on Thursday.
”kwa njia isioeleweka alisemekana kutoka na ule msichana hadi kwa nyumba yake ambako alimnajisi.”
According to the police chief, the incident was reported the next day, but by the time officers received the report, the suspect had fled into hiding.
