A 32-year-old man was killed in Marsabit County after being shot by unknown people.
The incident occurred at the Badassa-Leyai junction in Saku Constituency, according to Marsabit Central police commander Johnston Wachira.
Wachira went on to say that a contingent of police officers had been deployed in the area to apprehend the perpetrators.
The deceased’s body has been transported to the Marsabit County Referral Hospital Mortuary.
Meanwhile, Marsabit County Commissioner Paul Rotich has announced plans to compensate Saku Constituency victims of clan clashes.
“We have put measures in place to restore order in Marsabit County. Our top priority is to rehouse and compensate those displaced by clashes “Rotich stated.
