Marseille re-sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on two-year deal

Olympique de Marseille have secured the return of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a free transfer, signing the 36-year-old striker to a two-year contract.

The former Chelsea, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, and Dortmund striker has committed to the club for two seasons.

Aubameyang, who previously played for Marseille during the 2023–2024 season, comes back to the French club after a spell with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah.

His return is expected to significantly bolster Marseille’s attacking options ahead of the new Ligue 1 campaign.

During his earlier tenure at Marseille, Aubameyang made key contributions with goals and assists, and he has continued to demonstrate his goal-scoring prowess at Al-Qadsiah.

The striker’s decision to rejoin Marseille highlights his ambition to help the club compete strongly both domestically and in European competitions.
