Former Othaya Member of Parliament has come out to defend her employment to head the National Employment Agency.
The former lawmaker insisted that she deserved the job just like any other Kenyan applying for employment, adding that she is the most qualified.
“I got the post because I am better than those complaining. I have the qualifications and experience to run the office,” the former legislator said, while speaking to the media.
The recent appointments by the labour ministry have been met with frustrations by the Kenyan youth who, after multiple retrenchments this year, feel are not part of Kenya anymore.
With the Hashtag #DearUhuruKenyatta , Kenyan youth expressed their disappointment for the appointment of ‘old guards’ to state jobs.
