According to the government’s spokesperson Cyrus O. Oguna, Azimio One Brigade being massively received in Kericho was a major victory, not for Azimio One, but for Kenya.
According to Oguna, this is the level of maturity that should be displayed in every part of the country.
Oguna stated that the Kenya Kwanza Rallies in Siaya, Homabay and Migori should break the record.
“Come out in large numbers and listen peacefully, but vote for the leader of your choice,” Oguna urged.
He also added that these are small political gains that we must build on as a people.
On Sunday, Raila and his running mate Martha Karua stormed Bomet and Kericho counties where the Azimio flag bearer promised to revive collapsed industries and prioritise anti-corruption policies if elected president.
“Viwanda vingine tutaanzisha…na hizo viwanda vitatoa ajira nyingi sana kwa vijana wetu (we will establish more industries which will offer a lot of job opportunities for our youth),” Raila said.
The ODM leader who was massively received in the Kenya Kwanza’s region added that the Azimio administration has an elaborate plan to curb the rising cost of living.
