Pochettino Vows To Unlock Enzo, Mudryk, Sterling Potentials

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has outlined his plans for the team ahead of the pre-season, focusing on helping Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Raheem Sterling reach their full potential.

The 51-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris St Germain boss was hired in May after finishing 12th in the Premier League.

Pochettino believes that the new start is an opportunity for the players to show their real quality and create a platform for them to perform and improve.

Fernandez, named the best youngster at the World Cup, needed rest after a grueling schedule. Mudryk’s mindset and everything is different than Fernandez’s, so Pochettino intends to spend more time with the Ukrainian winger.

Sterling, a 28-year-old, is one of the more experienced players in the squad but has yet to replicate his performances from Manchester City.

Pochettino believes it’s not always to blame the players, but to see what is going on and why they are not performing in the way they expect. Once all is clear, Pochettino cannot give excuses to the players to not perform.
