The X (formerly Twitter) battle launched by Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai against former President Uhuru Kenyatta has now escalated to both Rigathi Gachagua and Winnie Odinga.
In an unprovoked jibe, Alai claimed that Kenyatta sponsored Mt Kenya leaders political meeting attended by the DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua, Martha Karua among other Mt Kenya leaders.
This comes after the Office of the 4th President warned that unauthorized posts misrepresenting the retired leader are spreading online, creating confusion among the public.

In a statement shared on X on January 29, 2026, the office expressed concern, noting that these messages are entirely unauthorized and do not reflect the views or positions of Uhuru.
The statement highlighted the importance of using only verified channels when seeking information about the former president or the Jubilee Party.
“We wish to remind the public that any official communication from the retired President or his office will only be disseminated through our established and verified channels: Office of the 4th President or the official Jubilee Party verified platforms,” it said.
The office underscored its commitment to providing accurate and timely information.
“The office remains committed to ensuring that accurate information is shared promptly and promptly, so that the public is reliably informed,” the statement added.

In a rejoinder, Alai claimed that Uhuru did not personally deny the allegations; instead, the response came from his office.
“Uhuru has NOT denied. It’s Uhuru’s Office which has denied such involvement,” he wrote on X.
The seasoned blogger and close associate of UDA and President Ruto has variously accused Uhuru of destabilizing ODM.
On January 18, 2026, Alai claimed that Uhuru was using Winnie Odinga and Raila Jnr to fight Oburu Odinga in an effort to keep Luos in the streets by sponsoring the Kibera rally.

“Uhuru’s wing of ODM, which hates Oburu and is determined to keep Luos in the streets, is going to Kibera’s ACK Church, then Kamukunji grounds for a rally.
“The people who are going to Kibera today, pretending to love Raila, are the same ones who couldn’t even take him for treatment. Kwanza who told them that the crown can be sustained when it’s been buried? Burying the crown and the fly whisk was one of the gravest mistakes,” he said.
