Former Harambee Stars midfielder McDonald Mariga was on Monday attacked while on a campaign trail in Kibra Constituency.
A video has emerged of the former UEFA Champions League winner with Inter Milan getting treated in a hospital for a fractured left arm.
Mariga is running for the Kibra parliamentary seat for the second time on a UDA ticket in the August general election.
Mariga has condemned the violence and vowed to continue with his campaigns.
