A vehicle mechanic in Uganda has taken Ugandan star Jose Chameleone to the police for ignoring a debt owed to him by the musician.
“I installed a new gearbox, brake fluid, computer and programming, front hub and bearings, fuel nozzles, plugs, tire repairing and of course labor charges” claimed the mechanic.
According to the mechanic, Chameleone left him a broken down Subaru as security for the costs, totalling to 11 Million UGsh (Ksh 300,000), which the mechanic says, will be a loss to his business.
“The Subaru is in very poor condition, lacks an engine and even of sold would not fetch USh3 million (about Sh80,000),” the mechanic complained.
It is however unclear as to how the flashy singer, cum politician running for the Kampala Mayoral seat, could run away over some debt.
