Former NTV Anchor Winnie Mukami Succumbs to COVID-19

Former Nation Media Group journalist Winnie Mukami is dead. – By Gerald Gekara.

According to sources, the board member at Kenya Pipeline succumbed to COVID-19 complications.

She is said to have been admitted to Nairobi Hospital where she lost the battle to the virus.

The veteran anchor started her career at the state broadcaster, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as a TV and radio current affairs presenter and producer.

She then moved to NTV in 2003 where she became a household name until her exit in 2010, when she founded her PR company, Winners Frontiers International Ltd,.

The former anchor then resurfaced after being appointed a board member at the Kenya Pipeline ion 2018.

Her death comes shortly after Royal Media Services journalist Robin Njogu succumbed to Coronavirus while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital.
