Men Aged 60 At Risk Of Severe COVID Effects

Men aged 60 and up are the most vulnerable to severe #COVID19 disease, with 38 percent of those who are positive in Kenya dying in this age group.

This should guide our actions: avoid infection at all costs. #NoVisitors #StayAtHome #WashYourHands #WearMask

Only 16 percent of women over the age of 60 who tested positive have died, according to statistics.

While this is still a high percentage when compared to the overall population, it is less than HALF that of men of the same age!

Meanwhile, the spreaders (often 20-40-year-olds who are active and more likely to leave their parents at home) are responsible for nearly half of all infections in Kenya.

Do you know a man over the age of 60? Remind them to return to their homes!
