A police officer based in Mea, Meru County has been arrested for allegedly impregenating a 16 year old girl.
This was after the girl who is in class seven in the area claimed the 57 year old officer defiled her between January 1 and last week on diverse dates.
The girl was admitted at a local hospital after her pregnancy was confirmed. The officer is expected in court today.
