Police in Migori are investigating an incident where a 52-year-old man allegedly collapsed and died in a lodging on Friday morning.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Naftali Nyandera’s lifeless body was found sprawled in bed at Lavanda lodgings in the wee hours of Friday morning, after a night of fun with a 24-year-old woman.
“Police officers based at Macalder police station were called at the scene and established that the 52-year-old man had walked into the room accompanied by the babe half his age, and collapsed hours later following an eventful evening,” DCI said.
The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, has been detained by authorities for interrogation.
The deceased’s body has since been moved to Migori level IV mortuary, awaiting postmortem to establish the exact cause of death.
