VUKA Group’s flagship publication, Mining Review Africa, has introduced French and Portuguese translations on its website, marking a significant step toward improving accessibility for readers across the continent.
The new multilingual feature is aimed at serving a broader audience, including industry professionals, policymakers, and investors who depend on timely and reliable mining news and insights.
By offering content in multiple languages, the platform seeks to bridge communication gaps in regions where English is not the primary language of business and industry engagement.
The move comes in response to growing demand identified during major industry gatherings hosted by VUKA Group.
These include events such as DRC Mining Week, Angola International Mining Conference, and Nigeria Mining Week.
Organisers noted a clear need for more inclusive communication, particularly in countries where French and Portuguese are widely used in professional and commercial settings.
Speaking on the development, Editor-in-Chief Gerard Peter emphasized the importance of inclusivity in information sharing.
He noted that language should not act as a barrier, especially in a sector as critical to Africa’s economic growth as mining.
